Vanessa Lively and Ben Bedford are acclaimed artists who blend dark-tinged songwriting with myriad diverse influences. Lively is known for her passionate, rhythm-driven songs—described by The Austin Chronicle as “folk music on fire with worldly rhythms and a Latin pulse.” She has toured nationally and internationally and will release her sixth album in May 2026. In 2017, she founded Home Street Music, an Austin-based nonprofit bringing music circles to the unhoused community. Bedford, named one of the “50 most significant Folk singer-songwriters of the past 50 years” by WFMT-Chicago, is a Kerrville New Folk winner with six albums of his own.
